SPOKES Members, pre booked on Lets Ride, are welcome to join Roger and Peter on this ride with a number of Watford Councillors. The purpose of the ride is to remind Councillors of the SPOKES proposal that this route should be adopted, with appropriate improvements and signage, as Watford's Green Ring. Mixture of traffic free (including canal towpath) and minor roads. The route is "Green" in two senses: it links several commuting locations, local services and Leisure facilities, thereby encouraging walking and cycling as opposed to motor vehicle use. It is also passes through green Parks and Ebury Way sections.
The plan is to finish with a conversation about the route in a convenient café.
A 7 mile SPOKES Medium Pace ride suitable for any bike.
