Pre Booked, via Lets Ride, SPOKES Members (limit 6 including Leader) Join Peter ready for a 10.00 a.m. start. (This ride postponed from 12 August to avoid riding in heat wave).
Cycle SPOKES proposed Watford Green Ring then to St Albans via Bricket Wood, using parts of the Abbey Way. Cycle the St Albans Green Ring with a socially distanced picnic stop (own refreshment) in Verulamium Park (café nearby for those who wish to use it but probably very busy). Return via Bricket Wood all good surfaces. Only 989 feet of climbing, nothing challenging.

A 31 miles, SPOKES Medium Pace Ride, suitable for any Bike provided tyres are suitable for the Towpath.
COVID 19 Precautions.
Follow all government advice. In particular, please ensure you have all you need for the ride including a spare inner tube, pump and essential tools. Aim to be self-sufficient in repairing your bike in the event of punctures etc. Bring a drink for the ride and, if you wish, a snack for the socially distanced refreshment break. Strictly observe the 1-metre rule on the ride, bring and use hand sanitizer. On the ride use handkerchief, tissue or crook of your elbow for coughs, sneezes etc. A face covering is optional. Do not join us if you suspect or know you have Covid 19 symptoms.
