Pre Booked SPOKES Members (limit 6 including Leader) join Chris ready for a 10.00 a.m. start.
Ride out through Bricket Wood, Potters Crouch, on to Hemel, where we join the Nicky Line (disused unpaved railway line) to Redbourn for refreshments. Back a more direct way through St Albans, with an optional stop at the Redbournbury Watermill, where bread is made and sold (also flour and yeast). ps. bring a rucksack!
A 28 mile SPOKES Medium to Fast ride suitable for any Bike but not slick tyres.
COVID 19 Precautions.
Follow all government advice. In particular, please ensure you have all you need for the ride including a spare inner tube, pump and essential tools. Aim to be self-sufficient in repairing your bike in the event of punctures etc. Bring a drink for the ride and, if you wish, a snack for the socially distanced refreshment break. Strictly observe the 1-metre rule (not face to face) on the ride, bring and use hand sanitizer. On the ride use handkerchief, tissue or crook of your elbow for coughs, sneezes etc. A face covering is optional. Do not join us if you suspect or know you have Covid 19 symptoms.
