Join a Spokes Ride to a traffic free day in central London
London FreeCycle day is back with an 8 mile central London route to ride and at various points there are free "Festival" activities to enjoy. Also taking place this year is the RideLondon Classique, a three-day UCI Women’s World Tour stage race (Friday 27 May to Sunday 29 May), which will feature the best women’s cyclists in the world. The first two stages will take place in Essex before the final stage is held on a circuit in central London on Sunday 29 May between 15:45 and 18:00, enabling those who have taken part in FreeCycle to stay on and watch the race.
If you register (free) for the ride at Home - RideLondon you will also receive a Freecycle tabard and, if you wish, be able to book a led ride to London with other groups. Roger and Peter are offering led rides to the festival from Wembley Park and Carpenders Park, advertised in this programme, follow the links to pre book on Lets Ride. On the other hand there is the option of travelling in by public transport and using a Santander bike.
