Pre Booked (on Lets Ride) SPOKES Members join me, Lorreine, ready to leave at 10.00 a.m.
We will ride along the Colne and bypass Wall Hall Estate to Battlers Green, up a horrid hill to the park. I go at a leisurely pace to the park but we simply fly home because there is a stretch that's all downhill. Shouldn't be out for longer than 2 hours. If I get lost it's usually only for a few metres before I realise I've taken a wrong turn! All adds to the fun!
Any riders who wish to include a socially distanced refreshment break please bring your own food and drink or rely upon the Café in Aldenham or Flourish being open for take away. Depending on the weather we may have an outdoor socially distanced refreshment break.
An 11 mile SPOKES Slow/Medium pace ride suitable for any bike.
COVID 19 Precautions.
Follow all government advice. In particular, please ensure you have all you need for the ride including a spare inner tube, pump and essential tools. Aim to be self-sufficient in repairing your bike in the event of punctures etc. Strictly observe the 1-metre rule (not face to face) on the ride, bring and use hand sanitizer. On the ride use handkerchief, tissue or crook of your elbow for coughs, sneezes etc. A face covering is optional. Do not join us if you suspect or know you have Covid 19 symptoms.
