Challenging ride with a number of big hills. Out via Berkhamsted, to Cholesbury and through many scenic Bucks villages. Back via Amersham, Ley Hill, Bovingdon. One very short stretch on unmade road, was fine on road bike when Katherine tried it, option to walk if too rough. Snack break in Hyde Heath, local shop open for cold drinks / ice cream / sweets.

COVID 19 Precautions.
Follow all government advice. In particular, please ensure you have all you need for the ride including a spare inner tube, pump and essential tools. Aim to be self-sufficient in repairing your bike in the event of punctures etc. Bring a drink for the ride and, if you wish, a snack for the socially distanced refreshment break. Strictly observe the 1-metre rule on the ride, bring and use hand sanitizer. On the ride use handkerchief, tissue or crook of your elbow for coughs, sneezes etc. A face covering is optional. Do not join us if you suspect or know you have Covid 19 symptoms.
