Ride via Patchetts Green, Borehamwood and Mill East to Hendon RAF Museum (Colindale), back via Canons Park and Harrow Weald. About 2 hours riding and 3 hours refreshment and viewing at the Museum. The route is a mixture of urban and rural with scenic views including surprising horizons from urban hill tops, all on road. Lanes and back roads as much as possible but some stretches of main road. About 1100 feet of climbing but nothing too challenging.
Lights probably needed for the return journey.
If you come by car the car park charge at the Rutts is £5.20 for over 5 hours, you may find street parking not too far way. Free museum entry although you may wish to purchase tickets for attractions such as the 3d virtual experience £5 per film) or sit in a Spitfire experience (£10 10 minutes).
