Watford Cycle Hub

A one stop shop for all things cycling – In the community, for the community

We’re a non-profit community bike centre – not just a traditional bike shop. We’re in the Pavilion at the Holywell Community Centre.

Feel free to pop in to our workshop at the Hub to meet the team, we’ll be happy to show you around.

We offer bike repair services, maintenance courses and cycle training. We also accept your old bikes (the ones that have been cluttering up the back of your garden for years!) and recycle them, salvaging what we can. In turn we also sell affordable reconditioned bikes and bike parts.

We’re here to help you with advice and information about cycling and bikes, including local cycle routes and maps, news about locally led rides and cycling opportunities and advice on bike parts and maintenance.  Click to view Who We are – What we do… ?

British Cycling

British Cycling is the national governing body for cycling as recognised by the UCI – the international federation for the sport.

As such, British Cycling works across all levels and six disciplines of the sport (BMX, mountain bike, cyclo-cross, road, track and cycle speedway), from providing the support and encouragement people need to get riding their bikes for the first time, to being home to the hugely successful Great Britain Cycling Team.

There have never been more opportunities to ride a bike, be it for fun or sport and British Cycling is at the heart of this growth. British Cycling also works hard to represent cyclists’ interests at all levels, including campaigning on important issues including road safety.

As a membership organisation, British Cycling provides a suite of benefits and support to its members, with all membership revenue invested back into cycling.

Cycle-Nation

Cyclenation

Cyclenation is a federation of local campaign groups and we’re here to help local groups campaign and to represent them at the national and international level.

We believe that each different situation deserves a well designed, cycle-friendly solution and that cycling is an ordinary everyday activity that does not require special equipment other than a bike.

The more voices there are locally talking about cycling issues and trying to improve the environment in which everyone rides the better is for everyone.
