A chance to experience a ride around the newly established Watford Green Loop led by a Spokes SW Herts Cycling Group Member. A walking and cycling route for leisure and commuting, linking key Watford destinations. Mixture of well surfaced off road and quiet road.

Ride south then east along the Grand Union Canal towpath, turn north east along the Paddington Arm to the Yummy PL (Polish Cafe) for lunch. Then roads – some quite busy, others residential – to a circuit around Wembley Stadium, and quiet roads back to Rickmansworth. Pace will be slow – perhaps 9 or 10 mph, because the towpath can be gravely, low hanging branches, pedestrians, dog walkers and narrow sections. Now avoids Sudbury Hill and the hill to Mount Vernon.
