General Information
How Difficult is the Ride
Rides advertised on this web site have a link to Let’s Ride for booking. All rides are categorised on this website with a Slow, Medium, or Fast rating. Let’s Ride uses another rating system. Using both, together with any notes in the ride description, should give a good idea what to expect
| Spokes description | Let’s Ride description | ||
| Slow | Gentle pace up to 8 mph | Easy Going | Up to 15 miles |
| Medium | Average pace of 9 to 11 mph | Steady | Over 15 miles |
| Fast | Faster than 11 mph | Challenging | Challenging climbs |
How Long will the Ride Take
On Let’s Ride we indicate an approximate overall time for the ride. The nature of group cycling means these can only be guide times not guarantees
What to Bring With You
Aim to be self-sufficient on the ride and bring pump, tools to change a puncture and lights. Don’t forget first aid and refreshment
Non Members
Non Members are welcome on most of our rides but we ask that you join after 3 rides, if you wish to continue riding with us.
