Various start time between 11:30am and 3pm - see below

Come along to The Cafe in the Park for half an hour on Saturday, 3rd October to try a recumbent - with full instruction, help and escort on a flat tarmaced route (1 mile) around the Batchworth Lake, Rickmansworth.
Why? I Googled "what makes a recumbent bike fun to ride?" and here's the reply;
"A recumbent bike is fun to ride because it feels like an armchair on wheels. You lean back against a supportive seat instead of perching on a hard saddle. This removes all pain from your neck, back, and hands, letting you enjoy the scenery and cruise with ease."
I only have one recumbent, and can only escort one person at a time anyway; so please advise your preferred start time in 20 minute slots by message in the Lets Ride website/app - 11:30, 11:50, 12:10 etc., up to the last one at 15:00. Please ignore the ride duration - the system limits this to a minimum of 60 minutes.
And just to be clear - you will not need to bring along your bike; if you do, it will be locked up at the cafe while you experience a recumbent
The pedal boom extends and retracts to accommodate differences in leg length, and is locked with an Allen key.

Please cancel your place if your plans change to allow other people to join the ride

If you are not a Spokes Member and still wish to join our rides, we do ask that you join us after a maximum 3 rides, for a modest subscription of £15 pa Details on the 'Join Spokes' tab
