The pedestrian lights on Thomas Sawyer Way have resulted in much safer access to Oxhey Activity Park. However, it looks as if a motor vehicle has recently exited Dalton Way at speed, crashed through the sturdy pedestrian barrier on the North side pavement of Thomas Sawyer Way. It seems that it then ran down the embankment to demolish the Steel fence protecting railway land
Reminder that road improvements are only a partial solution, driver behaviour remains a danger
