On the 110th anniversary of the first day of The Somme, we have a recreation of the BHF London to Brighton bike ride, starting from just outside Euston Station to make things easier for Spokes West Herts riders. I have derived the name from the expression used throughout the trenches and, from a cycling perspective, our "going over the top" will be Ditchling Beacon ! We will return to London by train.
