7 night cycling trip in Rimini, Italy 4th to 11th June 2026

Approximate cost £612.7, including accommodation, meals, bike hire (and transport to and from Rimini airport to hotel plus 10% contingency fee. Final costs depend on exchange rate fluctuations, numbers and room sharing. Cost of flights extra, to be booked by each person, current return flights is £93 from Ryanair

Non cyclist are welcome to join

Cycle rides available each day except Saturday led by local guides. Road bikes and eMTB available for hire or bring own bike

Each person is responsible for own transport to and from Italy

Cost is based on 2 people sharing a room on a Super Half-Board basis which includes: bed & buffet breakfast, 3 course dinner and a generous ‘Big Snack’ after cycling excursions (selections of pasta, salads, cold cuts, vegetables, cheese, fruit salad, yogurt and home-made cakes). Local wine and water are served with dinner

Hotel is in Riccione, a picturesque Italian seaside resort 6 miles south of Rimini. It is only 1 block from the seafront with miles of promenade and a wide selection of shops, bars, and ice-cream parlours. Rimini is easily reached by a flat bike ride or by electric train. In the Emilia-Romagna region in Northern Italy, Rimini is one of Europe’s biggest seaside resorts. The old town has many interesting sights including the Arch of Augustus from 27 BC, and Tiberius Bridge: 2000 years old and still in use today. The city is also the birthplace of the film director Federico Fellini, and it’s very close to the independent Republic of San Marino

Hotel facilities include:

• Special dinner with fine wine tasting and local produce (cheese and salami) with the opportunity to purchase to take back to UK
• Hire of eMBT and Carbon road bikes. Safe overnight locked storage, tools, and washing area for bikes
• Free laundry service for sports clothing
• Exclusive cycling local guides ready to go out with different ability groups on various routes in the Romagna hinterland 5 days a week
  • Routes differ in speed and length
  • Information on the routes is provided every evening and tailored to guests’ abilities
• 2 free entries to the local municipal Olympic swimming pool (covered and open-air)
• Book a session at the local SPA for €25.00
• Cycling trip and lunch at the local AGRITURISMO (Country Holiday Farm) can be arranged on request at an extra charge (travel included for non-cyclists)

First come first served for places, but there will be a waiting list in case of cancellation

Travel

• Flight from UK to and from Italy are the responsibility of each person
  • Suggested flights from from Gatwick to Rimini by EasyJet
    • Approximate cost £93 per person plus luggage
    • Departure 4 June at 12:20  arriving 15.30
    • Return 11 June at 15:55 arriving 17.15
• Transfer from Rimini Airport or Riccione Railway station is included in the Hotel Cost
  • Any other airport transfers subject to extra charge 

Payment

• When your place is confirmed by email you will be asked to transfer £300 deposit
• Remainder of payment for accommodation required by late May, details will be confirmed
  • It is expected that a small amount will be returned to individuals after the Hotel is paid and sterling cost is known
• The hotel cost includes bike rental which is 185 euro, if not required, this cost can be deducted

Travel insurance

Responsibility of each person but travel insurance is strongly recommended

Travel documents

• Passport valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure

Cancellation

• Flight
  • Each individual is responsible for any cancellation fee they incur
• Hotel accommodation
  • If an individual cancels after 30th April the deposit is not returnable
