Ride around Hemel to see Christmas light displays. Drinks / nibbles at Coffee & Wine afterwards. You are welcome to come for drinks from 7.30pm if you don’t want to ride. If the weather is bad, the ride will be cancelled but the social will still go ahead.

Bletchley to Bedford/Sandy

Join me on a new adventure from Bletchley to Bedford and Sandy to test out a new route and revisit part of an existing one.

Get the train to Bletchley, then ride to Bedford where we join the University Way path to Sandy, returning to Bedford via pretty villages. First off peak train from Watford / Dacorum stations, time tbc

Get the train from Bedford to Bletchley then change to come back to Dacorum / Watford stations.
This will be a whole day out, lunch stop, leisurely pace. Expect to ride around 30 miles in total, shouldn’t be very hilly.

GUC To Wembley

Ride south then east along the Grand Union Canal towpath, turn north east along the Paddington Arm to Polish Cafe for lunch. Then roads – some quite busy, others residential – to a circuit around Wembley Stadium, and quiet roads back to Rickmansworth. Pace will be slow along the towpath – perhaps 9 or 10 mph at times, as it can be challenging with gravel path, low hanging branches, pedestrians, dog walkers and narrow sections. I usually use my Brompton for this ride. No skinny tyres, please
