Pre Booked (Lets Ride) riders (limit 6 including Leader) join John ready for a 10.00 a.m. start.
Out via Two Bridges and Ebury Way to the Aquadrome then the canal towpath to Springwell Lake, cycle path to Mill End, Springwell lane to Aquadrome Cafe, for take-out or bring your own picnic. Return via the Ebury Way. Mostly off road.
A 12 mile SPOKES Slow pace ride suitable for any Bike.
COVID 19 Precautions.
Follow all government advice. In particular, please ensure you have all you need for the ride including a spare inner tube, pump and essential tools. Aim to be self-sufficient in repairing your bike in the event of punctures etc. Bring a drink for the ride and, if you wish, a snack for the socially distanced refreshment break. Strictly observe the 1-metre rule (not face to face) on the ride, bring and use hand sanitizer. On the ride use handkerchief, tissue or crook of your elbow for coughs, sneezes etc. A face covering is optional. Do not join us if you suspect or know you have Covid 19 symptoms.
If you are not a SPOKES Member and still wish to join our rides during this period when most rides are Members only, please join us for the modest subscription of £12 pa (£3 for subsequent family members in the same household).
